I have worked with manual lymphatic drainage for over 15 years and I am trained in Kobido, the Japanese facial lifting. My session is a complete facial treatment: deep facial cleansing, lymphatic drainage and an anti-wrinkle, anti-sagging massage, all done with my hands and with high quality serums and creams. It de-puffs the face, boosts microcirculation and brings the light back to your skin. At your place or in my treatment room, 90 minutes.
Non-surgical facial lift: hands, drainage and Kobido
Kobido massage is a Japanese technique from 1472 that for centuries was reserved for the nobility. It is one of the tools I use in every session and it is called the natural Japanese facial lifting because it lifts your features with no scalpel, no fillers and no machines: only hands, rhythm and a very precise sequence of movements.
It combines fast percussion, facial lymphatic drainage and acupressure on face, neck and décolleté. Speed is part of the technique: it alternates very fast movements with slow, deep ones to activate circulation, release the facial muscles and work on firmness. It is an anti-wrinkle and anti-sagging facial massage in the most literal sense: it works the very muscle that supports your skin.

What does the facial treatment include?

Is this a deep cleansing facial or a massage?
Both. The cleansing works the surface of the skin; the facial massage with lymphatic drainage de-puffs the face, defines the jawline, activates circulation and works on wrinkles and sagging from the muscle up. It has been my speciality for over 15 years, applied to the face.
How many sessions do I need?
A course of 4 sessions is ideal — that is when the result holds between one session and the next. That is why the 4-session pack is better value. If you just want to try it, one session already leaves your face de-puffed that same day.
Does it hurt?
No. Lymphatic drainage is a soft, rhythmic technique: most of my clients fall asleep.
Can I wear make-up afterwards?
Better to let your skin breathe for a few hours. If you have an event, tell me when booking and I adapt the protocol so you leave ready.
Does it work if I am in menopause?
Yes, and in fact that is when it is most appreciated. Skin changes with hormones: it loses fat, firmness and the ability to hold water. The protocol adapts to that stage; it is not the same as for skin in its thirties.
What do I need at home?
Nothing. I bring a professional table, towels, products and masks. You only need a free space of about 2×2 metres and a socket nearby.
